Genuine Apple Battery Repair
Genuine Apple batteries are ordered as required direct from Apple against your phone's serial number, usual delivery time is 3 to 5 working days and you will be notified when your screen arrives.
If you device works you can of course wait until your battery is in stock before dropping it off or sending it in.
In order to provide a genuine Apple repair we need your device serial number or, if your device doesn't boot and you don't have a record of the serial, the phone IMEI number which can be found printed on the SIM tray. Please provide the serial or IMEI number in the notes section at checkout.
In order to log your device with Apple for repair 'Find My' must be turned off, new security features on iPhones could prevent you from doing this in store for an hour (it does not let you change security settings in an unfamiliar location without a 1 hour cooling off period) it is highly recommended you do this at home before bringing in or sending your device.
To do this from the phone go into the settings and search for 'Find My' and simply toggle the setting to off.
If the device does not work go to icloud.com, log in with your apple ID, in the 'Find My' section locate the device and remove it.
