IMPORTANT - THIS IS A HIGH RISK REPAIR
Due to the way these iPads are made the screens are very expensive, there is a fair risk, particularly on older devices, that the screen will break or fail when it is removed, this can be due to various factors but is considered a risk of repair and the cost of replacement will not be covered by TCS.
We undertake these repairs on the understanding that if the screen breaks of fails the screen is either replaced at the customers expense or the repair is abandoned and the device becomes scrap.
Because of this a battery replacement should only be ordered if it is absolutely necessary or if the iPad already requires a screen replacement and it is ordered at the same time.
These parts are ordered in as required, typically they take 1 to 2 business days to arrive and you will be notified when it is in stock.
Due to the nature of iPad repairs we usually advise around a 3 business day service time depending on the number of iPads currently in progress.
