In order to replace the battery the glass top screen needs to be unbonded and removed, if it is cracked or damaged in any way it will need to be replaced, you should add it as an additional part.
These parts are ordered in as required, typically they take 1 to 2 business days to arrive and you will be notified when it is in stock.
Due to the nature of iPad repairs we usually advise around a 3 business day service time depending on the number of iPads currently in progress.
